In 2012, our firm’s client was in a serious car crash. The client’s car was stopped, making a left hand turn onto a secondary road. Another driver slammed into the vehicle from the rear, totaling the car and causing severe spine injuries, ultimately resulting in major surgery. Through years of litigation, the insurance company claimed our client’s injuries were not related to the crash. Even so, they made a small offer to try and settle the case, which our client rejected.
Eventually, Mr. Wright obtained an award at an arbitration hearing that was more than double their initial offer, and the insurance company made a more significant attempt to settle. Finally, while the case was scheduled for trial, the company offered $200,000.00 and our client accepted. Congratulations to Mr. Wright and our firm’s client on a job well done!
