Recently our firm negotiated a settlement for a client who was injured in a trip and fall caused by a dangerous condition on private property. Even though the dangerous condition was created by the property owner, their insurance company maintained that the injury was our client’s own fault. Through many months of hard-fought litigation and negotiation, Mr. Wright was able to entice an initial offer of settlement from the insurance company, however, it was unsatisfactory in light of our client’s injury.
Finally, after additional investigation and negotiation, the insurance company nearly doubled their initial offer and the case was resolved to our client’s satisfaction for $35,000.00.
